Back in action! ⚽️

We have officially resumed our sports program for the residents of Kara Tepe on Lesvos!

“It’s so great to be back! There is so much energy from both the children and the coaches,” sports coordinator Konstantina tells. “The field was filled with laughter and cheers our first session back.”

We are taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure the program remains safe for participants and coaches alike.

Training sessions are conducted in groups of 20 children and all coordinators and coaches are required to wear masks for the program. “We also disinfect all equipment before and after sessions and conduct training activities that require less contact,” Konstantina explains.

We are so excited to have restarted this program and it’s incredible already witness the joy it is bringing back to the lives of so many children. Our next step is to recommence safe sessions for the residents of Moria camp, so stay tuned for updates.
